I recently left a memorable 5 year career as an 8th grade health teacher to become a veterinarian. Leaving teaching was a very difficult thing for me to do, but teaching could not provide financial security for my family. I am currently working on a second bachelor's degree in zoology at Weber State University before entering veterinary school.
I enjoy raising animals, gardening, photography, and the Great Outdoors. In addition to being a student, I work from home building custom chicken coops (don't laugh, I'm serious).
